The NCPBL PD Foundation, founded in 2002, is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization that generates and disburses funds to support the leadership development of North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda local and state chapters and its members. It is organized exclusively for education purposes. The NCPBL PD Foundation membership is open to all individuals interested in promoting and supporting the purpose (as stated in the bylaws) of the organization.
NCPBL members participate in a wide variety of leadership development activities and conferences on the local, state, and national levels. At conferences, students attend leadership workshops and participate in competitive events.
Welcome, I am Chad Nichols, your 2012-13 President of The NCPBL Professional Division-Foundation, Inc. For over 37 years, NCPBL has been supported by professional members with one common mission – to provide all North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda members financial support, leadership growth, and opportunities for professional development. This mission statement is our foundation for our inaugural year as a combined organization. I am excited to see our history create a solid foundation to build our future! This year we will be rolling out new campaigns, such as the “Give 5 to Give Back” subscription plan and the new “Design a T-Shirt” contest, while keeping with our traditions including the “Design a Pin” annual contest, the Non-Trivia contest, and the annual NCPBL Professional Division-Foundation Student Scholarship program.
The 2012-13 PBL slogan is “Igniting Innovation.” What a fitting slogan to our great organization! As the North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda Professional Division-Foundation, Inc. combines our resources from our legacy organizations we will ignite innovation in new programs, processes, and support for NCPBL! I am looking forward to working with each of you to make 2012-13 a success!

North Carolina once again comes in 1st place for Largest Professional Division Membership in the nation at the PBL 2012 National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX.
